i'm artech, also known as artechthedvdplayer or (formerly) retro_person

est. 2009; i have autism (as you can probably tell), ADHD, and OCD
currently attending Brooklyn Technical High School and hoping to go to the University of Utah (Alan Kay, here I come!)

i also currently (07/20/24) co-own and co-manage TBCA, The Block Coding Archive (along with Katie and HalfHalf), whose goal is to preserve all media pertaining to block- and tile-based programming languages, mostly by MIT's E.&L.G. and LLK Group, and their predecessors and inspirations. i wrote a brief history of tile-based programming recently, as well as finally HTML-ifying my Lisp-based Logo Blocks tutorial (HTML-ified version can be found here)
